Author. Posted February 27, 2009. I select all torrents in the list, click on STOP. The status change to Finished (if you are seeding), to Stopped (if you're downloading). When I open my computer in the morning, the status is the same so I simply click on START. It works fine.
Posted November 6, 2017. Looking at the URL on the screenshot, you're downloading the current stable. What you need to do is go into the Windows Defender Antivirus settings. Somewhere in there you should be able to create an exception, possibly on some sort of white list, for uTorrent.exe. Once done, uTorrent should download just fine.
Posted March 4, 2014. Hi, So Ive been downloading in my PC, it was 60%. Then I tried downloading the same torrent in my phone using the utorrent app, as soon as it has created the files, I cancelled the download. Then I deleted all the files inside the created folder and then I transferred the files from the PC to the folder created in the phone.
1. I first network the pc's via networking cable. 2. Connect each pc to each internet via wifi. 3. Start downloading torrent to a specified shared folder on 1st pc (wait 1 min before starting download on other pc so that the file will show up in the shared folder) 4.

Open the .torrent file, select only the file in the torrent list that corresponds to the one I have locally, then the folder, then uncheck the "Start torrent immediately" box and press "ok" 3. the torrent is added to the list, I right click and "Force re-check" 4. [del]The torrent says "Checking" but it gets stuck at 37.2%[/del]
I didn't want 1.5GB worth of file that I couldn't find, so I right clicked the list and chose the command Remove and Delete Torrent + Data. I saw the torrent file in the recycle bin, but not the downloaded file itself. I thought it was just a glitch, so I proceeded to Empty Recycle Bin, as it always solved all my problems with diskspace afterwards.
I am down loading a torrent that contains 50 files and is about 85% in total completed (some of the 50 files are 100% the others varies from 45 - 95%). But I need to give up my PC. Can I move this partially download torrent to another PC and continue the download ?
Try this to find your torrent files... there are many ways to do it, but this is a brute force way: get to a command prompt (RUN - CMD) type in. C: {enter} dir /s *.torrent {enter} if you have more than 2 dozen torrents.. you should add a /p. dir /s /p *.torrent. or make a text file out of the results.

I have created .torrent files where I have a lot of heavy videos so that I can save it without taking up a lot of space on my PC. But when I want to download my videos, utorrent doesn't download my files and I get "Connecting to the sync" and from there it doesn't load anything anymore, it takes hours and hours and it doesn't download even 0.01%.
