If you haven't heard, Bell announced they have an exclusive agreement with Dollarama to sell Lucky and Virgin SIM cards. The sign on the top says you can get a 20$ GC after 2 months of service. The small print says after 2 top ups, 30 days apart. Minimum 10$ topup.
Toronto. I have not (YET?) seen $6 items @ Dollarama. Dollarama has a good strong life right now as a store that sells things for $5 or less. It does not need to charge more...or at least does not need to intentionally seek out items that force the price to be more than $5 in order to make a profit.

Scents are a personal preference, but the $3.25 "Speed Stick 85g Sport Deodorant" shelf tag above the Gillette Cool Wave looks like the best value. $4 and 4.6 stars at Walmart. The 73g Old Spice is a comparable value to 85g Walmart Old Spice, but Dollarama is a lot closer.
Just an FYI for those that may not be familiar...you do not scan your Air Miles card at Dollarama. The above is an Air Miles card linked offer. You need to link (or have previously linked) a Canadian issued MasterCard to your Air Miles account...and then pay for your Dollarama purchase using this MasterCard.
The Dollarama business model is often selling end-of-the-line products or liquidations and that means not enough stock for its > 1,000 stores in Canada. Not enough stock also to keep provisioning stores for weeks and months.
