SCE’s 5 million-plus residential and small business customers will receive the first of two California Climate Credits on their SCE bill a month early, in their March billing cycle.

Available energy-efficient appliances and services are grouped into Basic and Basic Plus. Whether a customer qualifies for Basic vs. Basic Plus is based on their average energy use. Those who qualify for Basic Plus are considered high-energy-use customers, or 200% above normal baseline levels.
If approved by the California Public Utilities Commission, the overall plan would provide $677.2 million for programs to help accelerate the growth of the building electrification market over a four-year period to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve indoor air quality.
