then restart my computer and delete the folders, been there done that can't delete the folder - mdnsNSP.dll stops me from doing that. Continuing my search some sites said it's considered a windows service, so I've searched all over the task manager and MSCONFIG (services) and Bonjour Services is simply NOT THERE.
It is with the service NOT starting under Windows 11 on a laptop, and after changing it to make sure the service is set to "Automatic" and then starting it, it goes back to "stopped' and set to "disabled" o a reboot. THAT is the issue... and the issue is NOT Bonjour, but WINDOWS stopping and disabling the service.

Open a Windows Run prompt box (Start - Run) and type the following command: “C:\Program Files\Bonjour\mDNSResponder.exe” -remove. Navigate to the following folder in Windows Explorer: C:\Program Files\Bonjour. Rename the mdnsNSP.dll file in that folder to mdnsNSP.old. Restart your computer. Delete the the Program Files\Bonjour folder.
