Try this driver. If it's printing the instructions, flip the orientation 180 to print the "other side." These are cheap Chinese printers so may require a little more finagling than say, a Zebra. Hard to tell without seeing the software. Has to be a driver setting paired with the correct option in FedEx's interface.
Ship Manager: Scale Connection Issues. Issue: Ship Manager doesn't automatic fill the weight with our scale like it used to. and I've been trying to troubleshoot by reinstalling drivers, switching cables, etc. OS is Wins 10. BUT ALSO When I go to 'Configure Scale' under 'Utilities', the program exits with the following pop up: "FedEx Ship ...
FedEx may be borderline criminally incompetent but at various points in December there were between 2 to 4 (I can't remember, lost basically the whole month to caffeine shakes, sleep deprivation, and alcohol abuse) different log4j exploits in various states of identification and patching.
Use FedEx Ship Manager, not Ship Manager Lite. Set your preferences to 4x6/Thermal label. Ask FedEx for labels. They have multiple models, you want any of the ones that say "Zebra 2844 and ZP500 Printers" or "Fanfold" - make sure they're 4x6. If you're shipping Ground they might have a problem with the little orange Express info that comes pre ...
Brand new install of FedEx Ship Manager. Brand new install of printer drivers. USB connected printer. Do a test print from the driver\windows, works just fine. Connect Ship Manager to server, do a test print to the printer, works just fine. Go into ship manager and goes to print a label nothing comes out. I have had no idea on how I have gotten ...
FedEx Ship Manager/Zebra Printer Aggravation. Apparently, for some reason, something has changed with one of our workstations that uses FedEx Ship Manager and a Zebra 2844 printer. Previously, when printing a label, it would go straight to the Zebra. Now, it's telling me to install Adobe Reader. I did and it brings up the label in a PDF instead.
Hi! I was searching for a way to fix a ridiculously slow running FedEx Ship Manager program, and found a post that matched what was going on here . A comment by u/jhpirate mentions verifying the IP address in the config files, and if it is 127.0.0.1, then change it to the proper address and test.
The biggest symptom is, upon starting FedEx Ship Manager, nothing apparently happens. I say "apparently", but the software shows as running in Task Manager. Furthermore, when I looked at the event logs, there were some errors (I will copy in from handwritten notes below, there was a bit more in the log and can look them up in the morning).
This device allows for the use of FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip. Each software uses a local user account, and each software utilizes a label printer (connected locally) for labels and a network printer for reports. Both printers work as expected for UPS Worldship. However, for Fedex Ship Manager, only the label printer works as it should ...
I hate the new Ship Manager. It used to save your last package weight. Now I have to enter it ever time. When you download the PDF of the shipping label, not only does it name it a bunch of random characters so you have to manually rename it something legible, but it's UPSIDE DOWN and you have to use an editing software to get it right side up ...
