Long story short, I didn't realize that balancing a 4-credit load would be as hard as it was. I know there is a way via the MCCC mod to finish the term and award a 4.0 GPA, which is ideal cause I'm looking to have a D average, however, I haven't been able to find it after a good while searching through the MCCC mailbox, computer, and sim menus.

If you are running Sims 4 Legacy Edition then you'll want to use MC Command Center 6.6.0 (Legacy Edition Release).
Click the sim you want to copy and select the MC Command Center menu. Click CAS -> Copy/Paste, then select the body parts of the sim you want to copy. Hair is copied elsewhere, so don't worry about that, yet. Click the "x" in the corner of the window until you get back to the main window. Now select "MC Dresser" and Copy/Paste.

I've been back to playing the game for a while now and I've noticed I no longer can just do "shift" + "Click" on a sim and get the option to "cheat sim info" which, from there, I could assign jobs, traits, and skill levels. I no longer get that menu and the "Cheat Sim Info" that I found in the regular MCCC menu on a sim doesn't include this option.
Try downloading MCCC from their Patreon here. If that doesn’t work, on a Windows device, go to Windows Security settings and turn off real time protection then download it. Yes, this just recently happened to me too. I was able to download it off their Patreon successfully though!
Basically, what I noticed was that you have a "game mods" folder, and if I understand correctly you have SoL sitting in that folder. If you have a single folder called like KS - Slice of Life or something like that then that could be the problem. You see, SoL has various sub-folders within it.
