Reaction score. 57. Dec 12, 2007. #14. I personally place orders to McMaster-Carr between 50 to 100 times a year, and our company gets several shipments per day from them. McMaster-Carr is actually a pretty small company with 5 distribution centers around the country near NYC, Chicago, Atlanta, Cleveland and LA.

I know that McMaster-Carr does ship to Canada, but as explained in their email, only to existing customers (that probably have the correct paperwork already on file to keep the US Government happy). There are a couple of ways that McMaster-Carr could tell you lived outside of the US and had intentions of taking the package over the border. 1.

Actually, I could post the weight and dimensional criteria that would apply to Daniel's purchase and anyone concerned could go to the UPS website, enter the from/to Zip codes and compute it for yourself. Of course McMaster-Carr will be paying commercial rates and probably adds a handling charge for its in house overhead.

McMaster-Carr is the source for all the hard to find bits and pieces that go into our airplanes. There is an entire cottage industry built around making large orders to McMaster and parting them out to us for a profit. What most don't know is that we can get this stuff direct from McMaster. Their prices are great, shipping is cheap and fast.

  6. McMaster Carr order... What do I need? - Rocketry Forum

It matters when you're on SSI and $15 is a lot. I've made one order and paid $30 for shipping of 3 O1 steel drill blanks, 6' rods, 1/8th, 3/16ths. and 1/4" (actually I got slightly undersized rod at .120, .185, .246"). Like I said the price offset because of the tube diameter fitting a 2" and 3" motor.

I placed an order online twice with McMaster-Carr. There was no record of them when I called to follow up. When I explained that it was the second time this happened they put a fellow on told me this was an order that they have determined to be going outside of the country...

what initially caught my eye was the low profile and unthreaded CPVC through-wall fittings. for version 2, i'm contemplating: - moving to a 2-3kW low density element rims system - ditching the coolers, and moving to stainless HLT and MLT - installing bottom drains on the HLT and MLT for complete draining - adding some hard piping (probably CPVC) my system works great for the actual brewing ...

  11. Blichmann Boilermaker replacement o-ring sizes (McMaster-Carr)

    www.homebrewtalk.com/threads/blichmann-boilermaker-replacement-o-ring-sizes...

Has anybody figured out the size and/or McMaster-Carr number for the o-ring that goes against the wall of the BoilerMaker pot and sets just inside the back of the linear flow valve? As best I can tell, the inside wall of the the groove the o-ring sits in is 23mm and the outside wall is 29mm. For reference, it's the o-ring in these images:
