Gale Gordon was a good foil for Lucy's wacky character. But the problem is that sometimes he got bigger laughs and better lines than she did - NEVER let a supporting character take over. But at times his mugging, angry outbursts, and pratfalls got too predictable and a tad tiresome/formulated. Offsite Link.
May 14, 2024 3:40 AM. The last produced (and thankfully unaired) episode has to be seen to be believed. Lucy enters a talent show, giving a (MAUDLIN!) dramatic reading of "Sunrise, Sunset." Audiences' last impression of Lucy when she was alive was almost that of a self-pitying old lady lamenting her imminent death.

Steven Root just like another great character actor: Harry Dean Stanton. There are way too many great character actors for such in such a short list, but at least they included Dan Duryea. I love Dan Duryea. Yes, R2, Elisha Cook, Jr., should have been on the list. Edward Everett Horton, too.

Her age was never given, but it was understood that she was at least in her early to mid-20s, and she was probably not that much oder than that in real life.
