Hôtel Marais Paris Caron de Beaumarche. This charming hotel's decor was inspired by the 18th-century writer Beaumarche. Located in the La Marais. So many memorable moments, but our favorite was a Jewish Walking Tour of the area and lunch at L'As du Fallafel.
23562 posts. Our two favorite hotels in Rome are in the Termini area -- Sonya and Aberdeen. Wife prefers Sonya -- across from Opera House - because she thinks the lattes are better than the Aberdeen. If they are, it is small margin of difference. We prefer the Termini area just for easy access to transit -- buses, trams.

It's about 10 miles (17 km) west of Turin, perched on a cliff. It's fabulous to wander around, few tourists, and pretty easy to get to. It's also accessible, with dropoff from a car at the elevator for mobility-impaired folks, or a short walk (not tooo steep but uphill) from the parking lot.
Following are day trip recommendations: • Direct train from Avignon to Nimes Pont du Gard (30-minutes). Visit Pont du Gard and then take a direct train to Nimes (Centre) station (15-minutes) and explore the center. • Direct train to Orange (30-minutes). • Drive to Uzès (1h).
