Costco's Road Hazard Warranty is free. America's Tire costs a certain amount per tire, in addition to the cost of the tire. To be fair, they will replace the tire without proration unlike Costco's Road Hazard Warranty. "Don't trust everything you read on the Internet"- Abraham Lincoln.

Costco has high quality tires and good prices, especially on sale. I have bought there before but found it inconvenient when getting tires rotated. Also, they do not do front end alignments which are often desired when buying new tires. I have found my dealership to be a good option. I can get tires rotated when getting regular service.

I need new tires for our 2001 Lexus ES300. For those of you who have purchased tires through Costco, what are your experiences with their comparable pricing, installation including balancing, rotation and rebalancing every 5,000 miles, road hazard waranty honoring, and alignment if they do that?

The tires currently on the car are Pirelli Cinturato P7 all seasons. They quoted me $1132 for the tires plus $95 for aligning them. I have read that the Michelin Premiere A/S are nearly the same tire, and Costco carries them with $129 off for $700 total. This seems like a no-brainer.

I usually get tires from Sams Club but the particular tire I needed Sams Club was out of and in the past when you back order something, it might not arrive in months, so I decided to give Discount tires a try. Sams Club. Generaly, the experience is in my opinion "Cheap". At my site, there appears to be one guy doing the both front desk and the ...

  8. Tire change at a Lexus dealership: are these costs reasonable?

    www.bogleheads.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=377369

If you see you can buy the same tires at some local store like Discount Tire for $300 each, that would be $600 for two plus mounting and balancing which generally runs about $20/tire. Then add sales tax. So $650 to $700 would be reasonable. If you got two $500 tires for $800 you got a great deal.

  9. Best place to get tires? (Disappointed with Costco Tire Center)

Costco tires rep gave tough time - and at the end willing to replace only that single “worn out” tire (that too on prorated price). Just want to say that - on a similar scenario (not the same car/tires/time)., Discount tire was working hard (and batting in behalf of its customer) to replace all 4 tires as a set for-free ..

  10. How often does Costco have the deals on 4 Michelin tires?

by General Disarray » Mon Oct 22, 2018 9:41 pm. Costco seems to have sales on the Michelin tires every other month, although this is my estimate. (There is a sale going on now through October 28--$70 off four Michelin tires.) The sales seem to alterate monthly between Michelin and Bridgestone tires. Topic Author.

Just go pay someone $25 to rotate your tires on your schedule. +1 One reason that I have bought tires at Costco is the free road hazard warranty -- but the long expected wait has dissuaded me from going back to have the tires rotated.
