Hospital emergency codes are coded messages often announced over a public address system of a hospital to alert staff to various classes of on-site emergencies. The use of codes is intended to convey essential information quickly and with minimal misunderstanding to staff while preventing stress and panic among visitors to the hospital.
Code 1: A time critical case with a lights and sirens ambulance response. An example is a cardiac arrest or serious traffic accident. Code 2: An acute but non-time critical response. A code word is a word or a phrase designed to convey a predetermined meaning to an audience who know the phrase, while remaining inconspicuous to the uninitiated. For example, a public address system may be used to make an announcement asking for "Inspector Sands" to attend a particular area, which staff will recognise as a code word for a fire or bomb threat, and the general public will ignore.
Code Brown[edit] On February 21, 2007, Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, Canada issued a Code Brown for a potential spill. According to the wiki article, a Code Brown usually denotes external disaster, but I think hazardous spill should be added to that list.

Actually why display the list at all? A correctly set up hospital is already in a category which already includes an appropriate list if it exists. Also the code defaults to the US list when state a specific list exists. That's reason enough to remove it. To include state and country specific code in the template is a disaster in my opinion.
