    301. Location. NW Lower Michigan. Tractor. JD 4310. I've got eight older full sized apple and pear trees in my yard and this year is the best/worst year for fruit that I can remember. The ground under the trees is almost totally covered with apples and pears. I've heard that you should keep it all cleaned up to cut down on disease, so I've been ...

However, if you do decide to choose a scoop, note that with the Superior Scoop based on the JD blade, the hydraulics that control blade angle have to be moved up to control the bucket. The blade has to be blocked manually in the straight position. Thus you lose the ability to angle the blade--a feature that is very important in blading snow.

  6. Nova Tractor Flail Mower Review -- First Impressions

Location. Virginia. Tractor. 2021 Branson 4820CH. So, I just put 6-7 hours into the medium duty Nova Tractor flail mower this weekend. This was the MD175 model (Formerly EFGC175 I think). It has 28 1.75 lb hammers and a 68" cut width. I think my 48 horse tractor (42 at the PTO) would have pulled the next largest one up but I preferred to lose a ...

JD 2025R, previously Gravely 5650 & JD 4010 & JD 1025R. Your tractor can easily run an 8 inch chipper. Got a 4x6 (WM WC46) on the 2025R, and it just loafs along, about half the PTO hp yours has. Hp only goes up by sq rt of wood diameter. So, double the diameter, and it goes up 40%.

  8. Sizing PTO tiller for tractor - TractorByNet

    www.tractorbynet.com/forums/threads/sizing-pto-tiller-for-tractor.204104

Good luck. The hp changed throughout the years, starting at 55 PTO hp with the 3010 moving up to 70 PTO hp with the last years of the 3020. Regardless even at idle a 3020 would tear up any tiller TSC sells. As stated before, I would be looking for something in the 7-8' range.

  10. Ford 918h flail mower - TractorByNet

    www.tractorbynet.com/forums/threads/ford-918h-flail-mower.240756

I have the 72" NH 918H flail mower. I've used it for 5 years and the only problem I had was the bearings on the roller. The original owner had let it go too long without grease. I've owned 3 finish mowers and a brush hog. The flail is the best all around mower. We mow lawn, pastures and horse trail. From grass to 1-1/2" fallen limbs it does it all.

  11. Outrigger slowly creeps down - TractorByNet

    www.tractorbynet.com/forums/threads/outrigger-slowly-creeps-down.352337

Tractor. Terramite T5C. One outrigger on my LBH won't stay up. Takes a few days but it creeps down, and quicker when in use. No leaks anywhere but I rebuilt the cylinder anyway. Seals were all fine and inside cyl smooth. Back together, no change. So I thought it must be the control valve, but the hyd shop guy said. probably not.
