I agree on the importance to make the Website tab working on the new Teams *also* on websites that require authentication or that are complex. It is really important as a way to ensure that Microsoft Teams works as a hub for the many services that are provided from many others. So, the issue is important.. Please Microsoft, work on it!

I had this issue with multiple users when they were running new teams version on the app and trying to run original teams on the web. As well as vice versa. Make sure you are using both new teams apps & new teams web link or original teams apps and and original teams web link. They are different. If mis matching, teams on the web will never load.
