Don’t buy it from a third party seller via Walmart. You have to purchase directly— sold by Walmart/shipped by Walmart. You’ll be out of luck if something goes wrong with your order. This also goes for purchases from Amazon. Don’t purchase if it’s from direct vendor (shipped by the third party vendor) but was advertised thru Amazon.
Hey so i ordered a Ps5 on march 18th. It has an estimated delivery date of april 13th. I was wondering if this is real or just a date to provide leeway. Or how long it takes walmart to prepare orders. I’ve been extremely impatient and excited for it as I havent had a playstation since since the ps2. Really looking forward to spiderman.
TLDR: Walmart sold me a PS5 that they didn’t even have in stock to sell….. I spoke to customer service at 4pm on 1/17, they told me that the order will be out for delivery on 1/18, I just haven’t gotten tracking info yet due to security purposes because it’s a PS5. 5am on 1/18 got the delayed notice with no further explanation. Every time you refresh the website and do it again, you always reveal the PS5 on the third gift. Obvious scam website. One commenter is asking how to order when there’s clearly an “Order now” button under the post. If you google Walmart PlayStation 5 $2.85, nothing comes, but reddit links talking about this scam.
Lol. I'm saving up to buy one from a scalper. Just trying to buy one at retail price is a joke. Stock runs out in seconds, better off getting one from a scalper than waiting God knows how long to even have a small chance of getting one.
I attempted to get a PS5 during a Black Friday sale on Walmart's website. I actually ordered a disc-based God Of War bundle on the 24th. The bundle was due to arrive on Dec 5th according to Walmart. The status for the bundle went from "Preparing" to "Shipped" by the 29th. The thing is on both the Walmart and FedEx tracking the status never changed.
Ordering a PS5 from Walmart is basically a lottery at this point. They’re taking orders before they even know how much inventory they’re going to actually get from Sony. That’s why I’ve been encouraging people to order from literally anywhere but Walmart (and scalpers for obvious reasons)
PS5 ordered from Walmart still says “Preparing Order” :POST_Question: Question So I recently finally managed to cop a ps5 on the June 17th drop and at this point I for sure know that I got the console since I received a confirmation email, no cancellation emails (which I’ve received on past drops), and I was charged for it the same day.
