Hi Daniel, There aren't flag emojis and there problably won't be. The reason is pretty simple and can't be worked around in any satysfying way: Country flags aren't actually a single unicode character, but a combination of unicode characters that are interpreted as a flag.
Gosh I tried posting this on r/AskReddit but they have a frigging Bot to get past that's worst then Border patrol lol! But ya like, it says "us" instead of the actual flag, and 4th of July recently I noticed that on Reddit, Instagram, and in emails from companies trying to use the flag and it shows "us" instead"? There are no emojis for US state flags, as they have not been added into Unicode. They have released state flags, but for now they aren't on phones. 🇴🇰.
