As far as I have seen, the Sanskrit word for time, at least material time, is "kala". Jroberson108 ( talk ) 04:11, 7 June 2020 (UTC) [ reply ] @Jroberson108 "Kaal" is a transliteration of काल as it is pronounced in modern Hindi, but the same Devanagari spelling is pronounced "kaala" in Sanskrit.
