Overall, I think the Pixel 5 is the most well-rounded phone Google has made. The price, while slightly higher than I'd like is not too bad and the user experience is flagship level despite the mid-range specs. If you have a Pixel 4, I don't recommend getting it unless you want a better battery.

Case in point, from my own usage, the Google Pixel 7 Pro heats up less, seems to drain less energy randomly, and overall, is a major, major improvement for Tensor G2. Is it perfect? No.

If you've ever owned the Essential Phone from 2017, the Pixel 6 is pretty comparable to that in terms of the boxier shape. The Pixel 6 Pro adds on top of the premium feel of the Pixel 6 with the barely visible bezels around the screen and the heavier weight.

I've had the Nexus One, Nexus 6p, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 6, and Pixel 7. Pixel 7 is the best, only because it's the newest and fastest. The 3 XL is a very close 2nd.

  8. My review of the Pixel 8 : r/GooglePixel - Reddit

It had a great 40MP camera, great battery life, very user-friendly UI, very fast processing speed and a very nice design. Even though the Huawei is 5½ years old, it had many features that are standard today. What I like: The Camera makes way better pictures in terms of colours and saturation.

Personal Review for Pixel 7 / Pro. I just had a chance to spend an hour with both devices. I'm really impressed with both of them. Face Unlock works great. Fingerprint sensor is super fast. I have a s22 and didn't notice any difference. It is accurate and fast on both devices. I registered only once my finger.

At the end of the day, I'm just sharing my honest opinion based on my personal experience with the phone. If you're happy with your Pixel, more power to you. But for me, the Pixel 8 just didn't live up to the hype, and I think people should know about the potential issues before they buy.
