My account is unlocked after giving them the last four digit, expiration date, last three items I purchased and an amazon transaction number/amount from my bank's app.

after the cancelation, they called amazon from the number that was in the email sent after they changed their password. 800-388-5512 was the number and after googling, I don’t see anything that attaches it to amazon, so I’m not sure what to think. Not sure if this is the same situation as OPs, so if anyone has any insight, that’d be great!
