One warning if using the Disney Chase Visa: that is 0% for 6 months from the date of the transaction, which usually is sooner than 6 monthly billing cycles after the charge. I forget the exact language, but the monthly bills say something like "interest saving balance", so as long as you pay that, you'll avoid interest charges for the first 5 ...
I am not booking a WDW packaged or room (we have DVC). I know that if you book disney visa gives you 6 months interest free to pay. If you are purchasing tickets only -- does that qualify for the 6 month interest free?
It depends which card you have. The Disney Chase Signature Visa does have travel insurance, but not all credit card travel insurance is created equal. I called Chase and compared the trip insurance on my Disney Visa and my United Explorer cards. The United Explorer card had much better trip insurance than the Disney card had.
We go to Disney parks every few years, and we use the Disney Visa Card exclusively at Disney parks in order to get 10% off at restaurants and stores (that, and the exclusive character meet-and-greets). Then we end up with ~$10 in rewards from those Disney Parks purchases that sit there for 2 years. With Pay Yourself Back, I have 75 days to use ...
I just signed up for the Disney Premier Chase Visa last week (waiting for it in the mail) because they'd upped the sign-on bonus to $200 and I figured it was worth paying $49 to get $200. In the long term it is not going to make sense for me to have the card with the annual fee, as I don't plan...

I wasn't exactly sure where to ask this, but does anyone know if the Disney Chase VISA credit card charges a foreign transaction free if you rent through a company like Dave's DVC? I can't seem to find any info on Chase's website. TIA.
Messages. 1,351. Apr 20, 2015. #4. The $100 offer is for new cardholders only (but you could certainly try to apply for a new Disney Premier card instead of upgrading your regular Disney Visa -- I'm not sure if that would work.) I believe $50 is the most they offer now to upgrade.
If they have checking accounts at Chase, they will eventually start getting directed offers for the credit card with some kind of spending bonus (I think $150 for $400 in 3 months was one of the ones we got). If you get these, open the account at the branch using the offer.
