If you can access your Quest's storage on SideQuest, everything was setup correctly. Once you allow it, run the 'Test Connection' on Oculus Link, the test should pass and show your cable's bandwidth. You can change it in debug tool. There are 3 options, default, low & high. But default & high are the same. Low gives sharper image. The only exceptions are handful of multiplayer games where they where developers added features/content for during the life of Q1/Q2 and the game evolved beyond what the Quest 1 is capable of. 150€ is to much for a quest 1. Quest 1 max 100€. Quest 2 max 200€. Quest 2 new 350€. Quest 3 new 570€. The Q1 is first, not worth that price listed and second, it's a horrible buy right now if you're going to only play stand alone games since it either just lost support or will be losing support in the very near future.
Controllers: The controllers on the Quest 1 (Q1) one are more ‘grip’ friendly and less cumbersome than the Quest 2 (Q2). For games like Echo Arena I find the use of a special grip/strap to hold your hand to the controllers are necessary with the Q2 as opposed to the Q1. Yeah I had the og quest for a while and would play this game called population 1 or somthing, it was a battle royal game, super fun. When the quest 2 came out I tried to play it again on the 1 and it said I had to buy the new headset to play it. Wasted $30 on the game and abt $400 on the headset I cant even play a good game on.
3. Oculus debug tool, to find this go to file explorer, This pc, OS (C:), Program files, Oculus, Support, oculus-diagnostics, and there you should see OculusDebugTool.exe.
