To fix a leaky Delta faucet, you need to first disassemble the faucet to access the internal components. Follow the steps below to disassemble the faucet: Turn off the water supply to the faucet. Look under the sink for the shut-off valve and turn it clockwise. Detach the handle from the faucet.
Remove the Faucet Handle. Loosen the faucet handle, using either a screwdriver to remove the screw on top of the handle or an Allen wrench to remove a setscrew on the side of the handle. You may need to remove a decorative cap from the top of the handle to access the handle screw. Lift the handle straight up to remove it from the faucet stem.
