Stewart E. Bowen of Nelsonville passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, on September 22, 2024, at Hudson Valley Hospital. He was 87. Born on January 11, 1937 in Baldwinsville, NY to the late Robert J. and Doris Silkworth Bowen.

Putnam Real Estate Prices Soar. The median sale price of a single family home in Putnam County soared to $625,000 in August, a whopping 26 percent increase over the same period last year. While single family home sales declined by 6 percent during August, condo sales escalated by 44 percent to a median price of $395,000.
