The Scarborough Bluffs, also known as The Bluffs, is an escarpment in the Scarborough district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. There are nine parks along the bluffs, with Bluffers Park being the only one with a beach. Forming much of the eastern portion of Toronto's waterfront, the Scarborough Bluffs stands above the shoreline of Lake Ontario.

As of July 2021, there are 38 national parks, 10 national park reserves, and one national urban park, covering an area of approximately 342,456 km 2 (132,223 sq mi), [ 9] or about 3.3% of the total land area of Canada, and representing 31 of its 39 natural regions.
The area that presently comprise Toronto is a part of the Carolinian forest, although agricultural and urban developments destroyed significant portions of that life zone. In addition, many of Toronto's native trees have been displaced by non-native plants and trees introduced by settlers from Europe and Asia from the 18th century to the present.
