This mod does literally nothing other than letting you select different multiplayer channels (and allowing you to toggle a node drawing to see active connections). Improved connectivity is a byproduct of however From designed it. This will not improve connectivity/ matchmaking in the default, public channel.
The Dark Souls Connectivity Mod (DSCM) aims to correct the deficiencies in the default Steam Matchmaking. Steam can let you play for hours without actually connecting you to another player. I've had the same problem. This mod from Wulf2k can fix it: Dark Souls Connectivity Mod. Run game, boot mod up. Open the dark Souls chat on Steam. Right click a person in game. Click Steam profile. Right click and copy address. Go to steamid.io and put that in the search. Copy the 64 code and put that in the dscm and click the button.
