Francis Xavier Suarez (/ s w ɑː ˈ r ɛ z / SWAH-rez; born October 6, 1977) is an American lawyer and politician who is the 43rd and current mayor of Miami since 2017. The son of former Miami mayor Xavier Suarez, he previously served on the Miami City Commission from 2009 to 2017.
