Posted November 6, 2017. Looking at the URL on the screenshot, you're downloading the current stable. What you need to do is go into the Windows Defender Antivirus settings. Somewhere in there you should be able to create an exception, possibly on some sort of white list, for uTorrent.exe. Once done, uTorrent should download just fine.

So Log off the account when doing this. After that utorrent can run on the User account without problem. But one difference here is that I installed utorrent on a separate Drive aka E: drive and from either Admin or User torrent can run utorrent. So this might be something you want to consider if you want to only use utorrent on the User account.

I didn't want 1.5GB worth of file that I couldn't find, so I right clicked the list and chose the command Remove and Delete Torrent + Data. I saw the torrent file in the recycle bin, but not the downloaded file itself. I thought it was just a glitch, so I proceeded to Empty Recycle Bin, as it always solved all my problems with diskspace afterwards.
Most of my torrents say Connecting to Peers and never connect. If they do manage to connect they download at like 2.5kb/sec.. I'm on a 50Mbps cable speed. Every other piece of software/websites load quick. I have Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit, was using the latest uTorrent, but rolled back to 3.3.2 with no luck.
