Unfortunately just pulling hex codes off the Internet will lead to the colors being darker than they're supposed to be. Putting the code into Social Club will turn out slightly different in-game. The normal rule of thumb is to take those hex codes and lighten them about 15-20% and apply that code into the social club.

If that still doesnt work (highly unlikely) then try without the last 2 digits, to submit the hex as a standard 6-digit.
