I have box XG1A! I have had a tech here and I have talked to 13 different people at Comcast, also 3 at HBOMAX! I somehow got charged $25 for XFi unlimited, that I don't want! Also I still don't have access to HBOMAX although I have been paying for it! I added it to my Amazon account, it allows me to sign on to the HBOMAX app without problems.

Logon to HBOMax App on your TV (I use a Roku Ultra) 2. At top where it shows Browse, Q, then your initial, toggle to your initial till it shows something to the right of it (like your name).

So, since my current HBO subscription was ending in two days, 12/19/20, I thought I would just cancel that and then go on my computer to HBOMax and subscribe for six months (20% off deal) under a new account. That's with a DIFFERENT email address than my HBO account. I did that. Then I went back to Roku and installed again the HBO Max channel.
Try going to HBOmax/tvsignin and following the instructions. It will have you enter the code that shows up on your tv and then it should work. This didn't work for me at first, then I waited a few days and tried again and it worked. It could possibly be a HBO problem because the site showed up different almost every time I went in.
HBOMax on TV shows purple screen not loading. We were able to watch a whole movie on 12/22 and now we are unable to login to watch another. It doesn’t even show the login screen.
