1. Posted September 9, 2015. I can no use anymore bitorrent since i upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7. Downloading is working for several minutes then suddenly win 10 crashe with a blue screen of the death . "who crashed" software say it s due to a prob with my wifi driver. I did several test but it happens only when BItorrent is working.
Posted June 18, 2022. Actually this is not due to any BitTorrent Site Issue. Your PC antivirus / windows Defender is deleting it because it BitTorrent is Backlisted by default. just go to Virus and threat Protection and allow bittorrent.exe file.
1. Posted May 29, 2022. Hi. I installed Bittorrent on my Windows 10 and the download isn't starting, in the browser. I applied pretty much all I could find on the web, all is set apparently: - no firewall is blocking it, it's allowed in Windows firewall. - other services like uTorrent / Deluge are downloading fine the same torrent files.
Open ZoneAlarm, choose >Computer< icon. Click on >Basic Firewall< and set >Public Zone< on Med. but don't turn it Off while default is High. Try the same at >Trusted Zone<. This worked for me. I have ZoneAlarm Free Firewall version: 10.1. but it worked on earlier versions as well.

Check here for example: "C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming" on a Windows Vista \ 7 \ 8 computer, delete any Bittorrent directories found, you may need to enable viewing of hidden files and folders to do this. Also check: C:\Program Files (x86) and or C:\Program Files and kill any Bittorrent directories there.

Alas, the next time it was there again at start-up. 4. I uninstalled BT and re-installed it (7.10 build 44091). Unchecked the start-up option under preferences. Saved, closed, restarted Windows. 5. Didn't help, BT is started every time I start Windows. Note: I explicitly close BT before shutting down Windows.
