To launch it, enter <mail> in the start search bar (without the brackets) and click on the Mail icon as shown in the attached screenshot. If you right-click on the icon, you can then add it to both the Start menu and Taskbar for easier access. A pop mail account, by default downloads all mail from the server, unless in the OL mail account setup you selected the option to keep a copy on the server.
