The School District of Palm Beach County ( SDPBC) is the tenth-largest public school district in the United States, [4] and the fifth largest school district in Florida. The district encompasses all of Palm Beach County. [5] For the beginning of the 2018–2019 academic year, enrollment totaled 192,533 students in Pre-K through 12th grades. [2]

MacArthur whose Foundation donated a portion of the land for its construction in the 1970s, is located on and just north of Singer Island, Florida in North Palm Beach, Florida. The park was first opened to the public in 1989.

The Old Northwood Historic District is a U.S. historic district (designated as such on April 14, 1994) located in West Palm Beach, Florida.
