This article should help: How to change units in Fusion 360. STLs are unitless, so whatever unit you export them with, the file will use that raw value as the size. For example, if you export using inches and your part is 1 inchx1 inch, when imported into a slicer that uses mm (most do), your file will appear as 1mmx1mm.
Additional comment: Advantage of the VBA is converting the complete top-level assembly and it's components with a single mouse click. No file by file conversion is needed. But it doesn't do any scaling. A length dimension of 200 inch stays as 5080 mm, and 1.75 inch are 44.45 mm.
2) Edit each feature from top to bottom and change the parameter value from inch-base to mm based (simply replace "in" with "mm). The only way to fix this is to close Fusion and restart. If you are exporting from the cloud the export will be size for size so in a mm design 1mm will be one unit and in an inch design 1 inch will be 1 unit. So if you export an inch design from the cloud and import into most slicers you'll need to scale up by 25.4. Mark.
My Steps: 1) Start a design with inch units as my preference setting. 2) Change the model units to mm. 3) Change the preference units to mm (not sure this makes a difference since it is for new designs) 4) Closed the model and opened. 5) RMB on the body and selected "Save as STL". Measuring still gave mm units.
Command -DWGUNITS & follow the prompts on the command line. There are different options for whether or not you want to scale your geometry. You might need to adjust your dimension styles separately, command DIMSTYLE. Solved: I would like to change dimension from mm to inch. all drawing is in mm.

One millimeter is 0.03937. inches so multiplying 1 mm by 25.4 would give you 1 inch. If you open an empty part file (use the inch template) exit sketch and then. use the DERIVE COMPONENT command and apply a scale factor of 25.4 you ought. to get in the ballpark.
If you click New without the Standard template file, the default unit will be cm (internal unit). You can get a new set of Standard template files by going to Tools -> App Options -> File -> Configure Default Templates. Many thanks! If it is former, you can simply go to Tools -> Document Settings -> Units -> change it to mm. If it is latter, you will need to edit each part. Either rescale the parameters on Parameters table or use Direct Edit -> Scale to rescale the body. Please attach an example if it is still not clear how to make the change.
