Craig Chaquico. Craig Clinton Chaquico (or Chaquiço, / tʃəˈkiːsoʊ / chə-KEE-soh; born September 26, 1954 [ 1]) is an American guitarist, songwriter, and composer. From 1974 to 1990 he was lead guitarist for the rock bands Jefferson Starship and Starship. In 1993, he started a solo career as an acoustic jazz guitarist and composer.
It has been in production continuously since 1949 until 2019. Jazz guitar may refer to either a type of electric guitar or a guitar playing style in jazz, using electric amplification to increase the volume of acoustic guitars. In the early 1930s, jazz musicians sought to amplify their sound to be heard over loud big bands.
