Try running it in administrator and W SP3 then go to progressively older versions of windows. right click on the game's .exe. properties. compatibility (tab) run as admin and change to run as XP SP3. Does alt tabbing out fix the issue?

Ok, when i try to start Empires up, it doesn't work. Instead, it says "Sound Failed to Initilize" and the start exits. I have Windows XP Service Pack 3 and 504 MB RAM. I have reinstalled but no difference. If you need more info, please ask, I will check back often. This is really fustrating, so please help. Thanks! :4-dontkno

I am unable to install Empires Dawn of the modern world. I have downloaded this game. It is in Two parts. First part is CD1 and the other is CD2. I start by installing first part, aftre installation of first Part, It asks me to insert CD2. Now, I am installing this game from my Hard Drive. How Can I give it a CD?
