Classic is WoW as it was before any expansions. Burning Crusade Classic is WoW as it was in its very first expansion. The difference is: Wow Classic is just the base vanilla game. No expansions or anything. Wow Classic Cataclysm: Is WoW base vanilla game plus the 3 expansions. Burning Crusade (first expansion) Wrath of the Lich King (Second Expansion) Cataclysm (Third Expansion) My suggestion is just play WoW Classic: Cataclysm.
Classic is more time consuming than Retail, so that could be a deciding factor too. I would recommend you waiting for Fresh WotLK Servers, which comes in a month or so with WotLK Prepatch. Imho Fresh Classic Servers are the most fun activity. Unless you enjoy a lot spamming M+ or raiding HC/MM on Retail. 11.
