With my ps5 controller connected to my PC, ds4 always displays "No Controllers Connected." I've tried every fix i can find: Connecting my controller both wired and wireless, Disabling and reactivating the device in device manager, removing the device in device manager, and using multiple cables. ds4 is fully up to date and any correct drivers are installed.
Create profile (s) on PS5. Open up Steam. In Steam's controller settings (Steam -> settings -> controller -> general controller settings), enable Playstation Configuration Support. If playing a native Steam game, simply boot it up and the config is picked up.

More or less perfectly. If using with Ryochan7's DS4Windows, you will use your controller as if it were a Xbox 360 or DualShock 4 controller: All buttons/sticks work as expected. Rumble/Vibration work as normal. Lightbar can be customized. Minimal input lag when using over BT (close to 1ms with a decent BT dongle)

Althrough I use DualSenseX over DS4Windows when games that are not launched from steam, outright refuse to work with my ps5 controller. Like neither epic, ubi, ea, whatever else has damn support for ps5 controllers, only steam does it right.
Yes. Just go into profile settings and set the emulated controller to be DualShock 4. I know everything I recommend doing is setting output slots to dynamic so that they can change between dualshock 4 and the Xbox. Also when emulating DualShock 4, vibration will be disabled. Use my build if you want it enabled.
