With my ps5 controller connected to my PC, ds4 always displays "No Controllers Connected." I've tried every fix i can find: Connecting my controller both wired and wireless, Disabling and reactivating the device in device manager, removing the device in device manager, and using multiple cables. ds4 is fully up to date and any correct drivers are installed.
Create profile (s) on PS5. Open up Steam. In Steam's controller settings (Steam -> settings -> controller -> general controller settings), enable Playstation Configuration Support. If playing a native Steam game, simply boot it up and the config is picked up.
Not_that_Speshy. •. DS5 controller all the way. I have used Ds4 and Ds5 controllers with both windows 10 and 11 and they work flawlessly for gaming. The Ps5 controller has more comfort and nicer button presses which makes my pc feel like a next gen console. It works with all games store bought and downloaded. Reply reply. Severe_Sweet_862. •.
On the "Profiles" tab, create a new profile. DS4Windows should ask if you want to use a Preset, select "Yes" then "gamepad -> Xbox 360 ". By using a "Preset" profile you are using a profile that is pre-configured and should work as expected. Forget that your real controller is a "PS4 gamepad" (DS4). When using it with DS4Windows what matter is ...
When it's connected to DS4Windows, it stays at 0% but works up until I disconnect it. When I charge it without DS4Windows on, it charges normally to 100%. I have solution: 1)open ds4w. 2)go to settings, click controller/driver setup. 3)click install ViGEmBus Driver. 4)when it will open click repair.
Things I've tried. - Going to device manger and disabling one if the controllers. - Uninstalling the ViGEmBus driver and reinstalling. - Checking Hide DS4 Controller setting. - Switching to and Emulated Dualshock controller instead of an XBox360 one. - Switching the polling rate to the default 250hz. If anybody knows anything on how to fix it ...

Between DS4Windows and DualSenseX over Bluetooth, and just straight up connecting the controller to my PC via USB, there's simply not one option that just works: For some titles, I need to use DS4Windows, others DualSenseX, and others only really work when I'm ...
DualSenseX. It can enable the use of Adaptive triggers (your own values) So basically any shooter I play now has (kinda) adaptive triggers enabled, I set it to vibrate with a high vibration and snap force, so it feels like actual recoil. DS4Windows default profile will emulate a Xbox controller as soon as DS4W's picks the DualSense, unless you messed with/edited the default profile. In case you are not sure you have edited the default profile, just create a new profile using a Gamepad->Xbox 360 preset, save the newly created profile and then select it for your controller.
More or less perfectly. If using with Ryochan7's DS4Windows, you will use your controller as if it were a Xbox 360 or DualShock 4 controller: All buttons/sticks work as expected. Rumble/Vibration work as normal. Lightbar can be customized. Minimal input lag when using over BT (close to 1ms with a decent BT dongle)
