Me For all of the various windows options I have generally used the old school - Start > Control > (Add remove programs/Programs and Features, etc. etc.) to get to Avast Antivirus and Change/Modify. But with later Avast version it, Repair, seemed to be moved across to Uninstall.

Avast premier downgraded to free version. On my wife's computer I was using it for around 1 hour, a pop up appeared and said I have been downgraded to free version and another pop up appeared and asked for a reboot. So I did it again and this time It stayed as the premier version 20.8.2432 (build 20.8.5684.602. I used my avast account this time.

When running Avast Free v.19.8.2393, apart from un-installing the Avast software, please can anyone advise on how to disable ALL avast processes on Windows Start-up. Previously, as with the OP, I would simply de-select all avast services and start-up apps in msconfig.
